News at the Music Resource Center of Cincinnati

MRC is temporarily closed

Sat - 20 Feb

Due to flooding of our studios caused by excessive snow, the Music Resource Center will be TEMPORARILY closed until the problem is fixed.  We will decide on a week by week basis when the studio is ready to reopen, so please check back at the end of each week.  We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but we want your experience at the MRC to be the best possible!

The Music Resource Center of Cincinnati is located at 3032 Woodburn Ave Cincinnati OH 45206

When we reopen our hours will be:  Monday - Thursday    2:15 - 6:00 pm

MRC-Cinci is looking for volunteers! Guitar and Drum teachers are needed NOW!

Now that our doors are open, we are in need of volunteers to help out around the studio!

Whether you're interested in giving music lessons, helping the teens create beats, working the front desk or being a mentor, we want to meet you!

Yesterday we took a number of our Outreach students to the Bonneville offices to take a tour of their radio stations, talk with some members of the radio industry about what it takes to work there, and they also got to meet with special guest Flo Rida for a question and answer session as well as some photo oppurtunities.

Got a donation?

MRC is currently seeking help with equipment donations to help alleviate a bit of our start-up cost while our building is being renovated for opening. We could use any music or recording equipment you may have laying around from guitars and drums, to recording interaces and microphones, all the way down to instrument and microphone cables. Every little bit helps! For more details please see our donations flyer in the Get Involved section of the site.
